I had a great experience with Straight Path. They did a detailed walking inspection of my roof prepared a report. Asif provided the roof inspection report sixteen hours after the inspection was completed. The report was detailed with a lot of pictures that showed the problems. The report gave options for repairs along with quotes. Asif also advised me of the options to inspect the roof and the related costs. The roof inspector, Saud(?) showed up early and proceeded with his work after brief introductions. Asif and Saud were nice and professional. Both were excellent to deal with. The report was prepared with conjunction with sale of my house. The buyers have decided to hire Straight Path to do the repairs on the roof. If you are looking to have a roof inspection or repairs to your roof done, I would highly recommend Straight Path.

Edit: Straight Path Construction got back to us after this review. We did reach out to them before posting, but apparently the email got buried. Regardless, they were quick to respond afterwards and had a crew out the next day. Changing my review to 5 stars, at least until I can verify that the leak is fixed. --- I am reviewing not as a customer, but as a neighbour who is impacted by Straight Path Construction's shoddy work. Let me start by describing the behaviour of the workers. Instead of staying on the neighbour's property, they used the steps leading up to my front door to lounge during their breaks. When I tried to leave my house, I had to ask them to move so I could get past after awkwardly standing there for a few seconds while they ignored me - and then they would look at me as though I was asking for something completely unreasonable. This happened multiple times. They also used my front porch to store their tools, including overnight, until they completed the job. When we called to complain about this behaviour at the time, we weren't even offered an apology - we were just told that the work would be completed the next day, so they would be out of our hair soon. Now, I live with the aftermath of their work. The neighbour's gutters are constantly dripping on to our property, which builds ice during the winter and makes it nearly impossible to use my back porch steps without slipping - see the attached photo. My disabled mother, who lives on my property, can no longer reliably use these steps on her own without risking a fall - we already had one close call, and so they are now off limits for her during the freeze / thaw weather stages (which, as we know, can last for months in Calgary). In addition, they installed an extra eavestrough on the easement of our property, which means we now have to deal with a bunch of extra water down the side of our house that we didn't have prior. While this is not technically against bylaw (we live in a zero lot line), they did this without taking the time to consult us, which I consider to be disrespectful (at the very least) and a sign of poor professionalism. We tried to deal with this privately, but could not get a response. So out of desperation, I am leaving a public review. Do not use Straight Path Construction if you care about quality.

Hi Hannah, We completed work at the neighbouring property approximately one year ago. The gutter layout was completed based on the property owner’s request at that time. We were contacted once regarding workers being on your property, and once that was brought to our attention, the crew was promptly moved. We have not received any previous communication regarding leaking gutters, drainage issues, ice buildup, or concerns about improper installation. If we had been made aware of these concerns earlier, we would have been happy to review them directly. We’re still willing to review the issue and work toward a reasonable solution, but we do need to be contacted directly. After the recent windstorm my roof was a mess. We called out straight path construction and they made our problem go away right away. They fixed our roof and did a great job communicating with us. Lost some shingles in May 14 windstorm and Contacted Asif with Straight Path Construction Inc from Calgary. An exceptional experience from Asif who took information and send me a quote for the job to the two roofing gentleman who reshingled the areas that were damaged by the wind. They did an exemplary job of replacing the shingles. I would highly recommend this company for there quality of work, professionalism and great communication skills. Received a phone call from the manager himself after workers had completed the work. Would not hesitate to get this company in the future thank you

We got a roof leaking on Saturday and we called Straight Path Construction right away. Workers are on site on Monday since it was dangerous to work on the roof due to the weather. Workers are very professional and did their due diligence to identify the issue. Meanwhile, the company provided different quotes on the project with detailed info. We definitely like their professional work and they are very detail oriented.
